Kelsea Michaud-Malherbe (She/Her)

Michelle studied Forensic Psychology in her undergraduate program and specialized in Counselling Psychology during her Masters. Her field work was in addictions and mental health. Michelle also dedicated her professional career to working in the field of mental health. She started working with children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and made her way into the medical health care system by working at SickKids hospital. After which she worked as a counsellor with homeless youth and adults at a non-for-profit agency in Brampton.

 

Michelle uses a Client-Centered Approach in her therapy sessions. She uses Narrative Therapy and the Humanistic Approach to assist clients in their wide range of needs. Her clients presenting issues are typically anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, self-esteem, addictions, and mood disorders.

Kelsea is a Nurse Practitioner with her Master in Science of Nursing through Laurentian University. She has over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse working in mental health across the life span. She received her primary health care nurse practitioner certificate in 2021 and began her career in concurrent disorders, which are mental health disorders presenting concurrently with substance use disorders.  

Kelsea works holistically with her patients using a patient centred approach. Her goals are to provide you with the best possible medical care for your mental health, develop collaborative treatment plans and to be an advocate for you.

Elliott McLarnon (He/Him)

Elliott is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Elliott approaches therapy with an understanding that the demands of everyday life can be overwhelming, and that managing stress and adjusting to change looks different to everyone. He hopes to partner with you to understand the current challenges in your life, as well as where you want to be in the future, in order to help you discover a path forward that feels right for you.

Through open dialogue and a non-judgmental stance, Elliott hopes to help you reconnect with your inner strengths, while facilitating a greater understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. The goal: helping you move a little closer to becoming your authentic self. Elliott’s approach to therapy is built on the foundations of Person-Centered Therapy and Humanism, and incorporates the principles of Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He will draw upon the treatment approach that is the best fit for your unique situation.
